So, how’s the update been? It took down two of my favourite plugins – Similar Posts, and Popularity Contest(Alex King released an update for PC later).
I tried Related Entries, only to find it doesn’t work – even through manual install My only hope now is Semiologic’s plugin. Which related posts plugin do you use?

I’m yet to upgrade to 2.3… I’m a little concerned as to how it will work with one or two of my PHP “hacks”!

Which is why I still run my Permalinks plugin
Actually, if you edit a few lines in the core of WP, you can eliminate the “/” issue – but with so many updates, its easy to miss doing it after you’ve updated.

About the Hello World post, its not the WP default, its actually my first post. I just decided to retain the title and weave a post around it.

Hehe, oddly enough, WordPress actually messes with my .htaccess file.

If I use htaccess, it over rides WP, and hence helps in redirects etc. But then, I have problems with multi url for single post.

If I get rid of htaccess, WP helps canonicals, but I will lose out on redirects and other misc. stuff.

In the end, I have to use htaccess+permalink validator. Too bad, WP features are actually making me go nuts
